02  COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

“It’s clear the island voice and island examples in Sustainable Development Goal implementation and advocacy are still muted. We need to come together and reinvent an island narrative - of bright spots, hope and action, of islands as resilience examples and help those islands that need more support from the international community to get it. We need to do this because it’s good for the planet and good for island people.”

KATE BROWN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
