Priorities 2011 to 2015
The Global Island Partnership is focused on catalyzing and strengthening leadership and commitments to action in three priority areas:
- Successful implementation of regional island challenges and other partner commitments
- Catalyze commitments to ecosystem-based adaptation, mitigation and reducing the threat of invasive species
- Linking conservation and sustainable livelihoods to development dialogue
